Wow!  I can't believe there are only 8 days left of the first semester!  Where has the year gone? The next week and a half will be busy, busy, busy!  We will finish our unit on the Revolutionary War.  Then we will switch to Science. My students made the cutest Santa ornaments last week.   Upcoming Events: Blue Ribbon Awards Ceremony, AR Party, Sing Along, and Class Party. 

**I am very thankful that a student of mine and her mom were not seriously hurt in a recent accident. 

I am excited to watch the fifth grade music program tonight! A Kid's Life is the name of the program.  I can't believe how quickly the first half of the school year has gone.  Soon it will be time for winter break.  Don't forget that Accelerated Reader 75% goal is Friday, November 30. Students can bring their $1.00 for the Christmas Store. 

Accelerated Reader due dates for the 2nd 9 weeks are as follows:
November 9    50%
November 30    75%
December 17    100%
